75% No claims discount

Every year you don’t claim on your policy we’ll offer a discount in your renewal premium. For 5 years without a claim we’ll offer a 75% discount.

Replacement car

If your car has been damaged as a result of an accident, but it is still repairable, we’ll provide a replacement car while yours is being repaired, for however long it takes. The repairs must be carried out by an AXA approved repairer.

Pick-up and delivery

We pick up your damaged car, provide a replacement car, and deliver your car back to you when it’s fixed. Includes a lifetime guarantee on parts.

Excess-free claims

There is no excess on fire and theft claims. For any other repairs, you can reduce your excess by €100 when you use an AXA-approved garage.

Personal belongings

We will pay you up to €750 for personal belongings in your car that were lost or damaged as a result of accidental fire or theft.

Replacement locks

We will pay you up to €750 towards replacing your car locks and alarms if your keys are stolen.

Fire brigade services

Electric car chargers

If your car is an electric vehicle (EV) or a plug-in, hybrid vehicle (PHEV) model we will pay up to €650 for accidental damage to your wall charger, provided it isn’t already covered under your home insurance.

Misfuelling cover

Windscreen cover

We will pay the cost of repairing or replacing damaged or broken glass in the windscreen or windows of your car and the body work being scratched as a result of the glass breaking. This will not affect your no claims discount.

Car insurance benefits - replacement car

What is AXA’s Replacement Car benefit?

If your car is a write-off following an accident, fire, theft or attempted theft, we will arrange for a hire car for up to 14 days whilst you source an alternative vehicle. The hire car provided is usually an economy class 1.2 litre car. This cover only applies if you have Comprehensive cover, or Third party, Fire and Theft cover and the damage is caused by fire, theft or attempted theft.
