Yes, if your home insurance policy is with AXA, your valuables will be covered under your contents insurance policy.
Your valuables can be, but are not limited to, items such as precious metals, fur, cameras, pictures, art or collectable items like stamps and coins. AXA’s contents insurance will provide cover for your belongings to protect them against theft, storm, flood or fire damage inside the home. If additional cover is required outside the home then ‘all risks’ cover can be purchased as an optional extra.

What is covered under contents home insurance?
Under your contents home insurance policy, the following are covered if they belong to you or a family member who’s residing with you:

Contents insurance with AXA also provides access to 24/7 emergency home assistance, so if there are any minor issues in your home like a burst pipe, you can call our team at any time and we’ll send someone out to help fix the issue. It also provides replacement lock cover, so if your keys are stolen from your home, we will cover up to €750 to replace your locks.
Can you add additional cover to your contents insurance policy?
Yes, you can add optional extras to your contents insurance policy to tailor your level of cover to suit your needs. At AXA, we understand that everyone’s situation is different, so we offer a range of optional extras that you can choose from to add to your policy.
You can extend your cover so that your belongings, like your phone and jewellery, are insured when you’re out and about. Accidental damage cover is also available to protect you against damage you cause to your valuables, for example, if you spill water on your phone or laptop. Also, if you’re a keen cyclist, we offer bicycle cover which protects your bike against fire, theft or accidental damage.
So, depending on your individual needs, we have different optional extras that you can add to your policy to extend your level of cover. Also, if you have an AXA contents insurance policy, you can get 10% off a car insurance or van insurance policy with AXA.
