Christy has over 25 years’ experience in the Agri-insurance market in Ireland. Christy is native of Horse & Jockey, Cashel in Co Tipperary. He is a graduate of Agricultural Science from UCD and was previously President of the Agricultural Science Association.

Brian Prout – Agri Regional Development Manager for the South East
Brian is from a beef and tillage farming background on the Tipperary/Kilkenny border and holds a degree in Agriculture from the University of Essex. On top of this, he has a substantial 20 years’ experience in the Agri-insurance sector

Tom McCarthy - Agri Regional Development Manager for Munster
Tom is a native of West Cork and comes from a farming background. Tom has over 20 years’ experience working with farmers as a Mart Manager with Cork Coop Marts, and as a Development and Livestock Officer for the Irish Farmers Association. He is a graduate of Darrara College and CIT, and he has great experience of insurance for farmers and agricultural business needs.

Barry Clarke - Agri Regional Development Manager for the North East and North West
Barry attended Mountbellew Agricultural College where he completed an Agribusiness course and his Green Cert.
Barry is from a beef and dairy farm near Kells, Co Meath. He has been working in the farm insurance sector for over 20 years, having graduated with a Bachelor of Business Studies at GMIT. He has also attended Mountbellew Agricultural College where he completed an Agribusiness course and his Green Cert.

Michelle Crosse – Farm Broker Development Manager
Michelle holds a degree in Business Studies with a focus on Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Limerick. With 16 years of experience in the Insurance Industry, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Hailing from a farming family, Michelle joined AXA in 2018 as the Farm Broker Development Manager, where she offers dedicated support to a group of farm insurance brokers.
Pat Kelly – Agri Broker Development Manager.
Pat has worked in the farm insurance industry for more than 15 years. He is from a farming background and lives in Athenry in Co. Galway. Previous experience includes working as a Farm insurance Sales Executive and as a regional development officer with the Irish Farmers’ Association. In his role as an Agri Broker Development Manager, Pat provides support to all brokers in his region.
