We offer our customers protection against theft with the choice of our Third Party, Fire & Theft or Comprehensive van insurance policies. These policies offer our customers cover for their van, and its accessories in the event of a theft.
Are my personal belongings protected in my work van?
If you keep personal belongings within your work van, they will only be covered if it is part of your van insurance policy benefits. If you are a Premier van insurance customer, you can avail of personal belongings protection through our Extra Benefits package. This package is an optional extra which you can choose to add on to your policy. It extends your policy protection to cover personal belongings up to €250, replacement van hire, and replacement locks.
It is important to note that some personal belongings, such as money or jewellery, may not be covered. Consult your policy documents for further information.
How do I make a claim against theft?
Experiencing a theft is a worrying time for anyone, and a complicated claims process should not be adding to that stress. Therefore, we aim to make it as simple as possible for our AXA customers.
Firstly, you can make a claim online through our website. You simply fill out our claims form and give us a suitable time to contact you. A member of our team will then contact you at your chosen time for further details.
