With AXA van insurance policies, you can choose to purchase additional personal belongings cover to add that on to your policy. This will cover up to €250 for personal belongings that are lost or damaged as a result of an accident, fire or theft.

Standard van insurance includes unlimited cover for injury to other people, €5 million protection for damage to other people’s property, third party trailer cover and emergency medical treatment.
Premier van insurance
AXA’s premier van insurance includes all of the cover that standard van insurance provides, as well as the following:
Reduced accidental damage excess
No claims discount stepback
If your van is less than 1 year old and the repairs will cost more than 60% of the value of the vehicle, you will be entitled to a replacement van
Your no claims discount will not be affected by claims for fire and theft
€300 cover for windscreens and windows is included if you choose comprehensive cover
Optional extras
To tailor your van insurance cover you can add in the following extras to your policy for an additional cost:
No claims discount protection which will allow you to make one claim without impacting your no claims discount
Motor rescue which provides you with 24-hour breakdown assistance in Ireland
Injury to driver cover which will protect you if you are seriously injured in an accident that is your fault
Glass breakage cover will replace or repair broken or damaged windscreens and windows excluding sun roof. In addition to this, the body work of your van is covered if it is damaged by the broken glass
If you are on our premier package, you can add an extra benefits package to your cover which includes a mix of additional extras like replacement van hire costs, personal belongings cover up to €250, replacement lock cover up to €750 and fire brigade charges up to €1,270
